Two NRC Postdoc Opportunities

The Northwest Fisheries Science Center of the National Marine Fisheries Service provides scientific and technical support for the management and conservation of the Pacific Northwest region’s marine and anadromous resources. In doing so, we are developing quantitative tools for assessing population and habitat status and recovery potential and progress for Endangered Species Act listed salmonids. As an experimental test-bed to support these efforts we have recently initiated a large-scale comprehensive monitoring program implemented across portions of the Columbia River basin. This project has openings for two postdoctoral researchers to work on quantitative tools for data analysis and monitoring program design from the scale of the data collection events to the landscape setting of the entire program.
